Mercury into Leo
Mercury, our cosmic chirp maker, is happy in Leo, because the Sun’s rulership of this sign sits well with it (known in the astral trade as deposited) and Leo gives Mercury added powers of determination, and as you would imagine, pride and no little “fixed” purpose. The trick for us all is to use the upside, and avoid the downsides.
Fortunately, immediately Mercury links brilliantly with the “random” placement of Uranus in Aries, and later next week, a fab tie-in with the go-getting Mars in Gemini. So Mercury can kind of be a nice counter balance to all the heavier nuances of Cardinal energy still flowing from the Eclipse. It’s a kind of chin, hopes up position.
Mercury Trine Uranus
This aspect kicks in almost immediately and can really can add zip to the potentially more ponderous and conservative energies, that yes, is the downside of Leo. Therefore Uranus keeps Mercury on its toes. However, Mercury’s executive and leadership abilities can be cool for Uranus too, helping to provide greater structure, and steadiness. So any Eureka moments you have should be followed up, and really the more inventive, the better!
The Moon will also pass over Mercury today, as it moves from Cancer into Leo, this is interesting too, all in all, some variation may be no bad thing as the weekend unfolds!
