The week begins with the North Node, the point of destiny, angling towards Uranus, the planet of surprises. This is a great opportunity for us all to bring a degree of drama and panache into what we are trying to do. After the worthy and service orientated inverse journey through Virgo, now the North Node is urging us to show how talented we can be and the flair that we can demonstrate. In this alliance this could mean pushing the boundaries a little bit and being a little more daring around some of our hopes and expectations.
The Sun and Mercury also forge a fantastic link all week, firstly on Monday and Tuesday in Gemini, and from Wednesday in Cancer . When these two are closely aligned it creates a greater vibration around communications, and how we think, and there could be some moments of absolute ingenuity. But equally we could jump to conclusions around situations before we properly digest the facts so it is going to be really important, not to make assumptions.
However Mercury in the sign of Cancer is an inherently complex location, so until he moves into Leo on 6th July, we need to be sure that were not being overly subjective in how we receive what other people say. It’s possible to take things personally during this time, or misconstrue where people are coming from. The logic of Mercury is somewhat submerged under the watery energies of Cancer. Yet whilst the Sun and Mercury are side-by-side in the second half of this week and there is a New Moon in Cancer on Saturday, there is an opportunity for us all to think about the foundations in our situations, about our physical and emotional environments, where we live who with and how, family interactions, and the whole concept of security. Staying attuned to our senses is going to be very important for the next month.
The second half of this week also sees two very important trine’s, the most enabling of planetary aspects or angles of 190° . This sees Venus forging a deep bond with the planet of truth, change and power, Pluto , and also Mars forging a delicious link with Neptune . Venus’s angle to Pluto can make as much more conscious of the people who really matter in our situations. Everyday scenarios of shopping, cooking, routines, and the like can sometimes erode our consciousness of the value and importance of certain connections. These can become much more obvious to us. If you meet someone and really chime, this could turn out to be a very important relationship, where you may share a deep bond for some time to come. With Mars also in its trine to Neptune our own desire to get what’s good for us on an individual basis, is softened by the more spiritual and self-sacrificing impact of Neptune. So all in all the second half of this week can be a very interesting time in terms of our emotional well-being and interactions with others.
