Mars in Aquarius goes retrograde this week, through to the end of August. It also repeats an aspect that first occurred in the second two weeks of May, forging a rather incendiary right angle to Uranus in Taurus. This can create circumstances where we may be reluctant to give up an attitude or pattern that is very well established. If we resist it can create inner attention but equally if we do make some changes, they may upset the status quo.

The first three days of this week also see Venus in a square with Jupiter. This is an aspect of revelry and enjoyment. With Venus in the sign of Leo, enjoying a more social opportunity could certainly prove fun, though overindulgence may prove hard to resist or will it be someone that we encounter?
Thursday however does see a very powerful Full Moon, in the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn , and ironically Saturn is conjunct this full Moon and opposite the Sun all week. We could encounter someone who is very staid, or tends to be a stickler for tradition, and may be has little time for the more emotional dimension of life (the Cancer Sun) and with both signs being Cardinal this can lead to something of a stand-off. Physical vitality can be lower, and obstacles may crop up, or peak in an area of life that has been problematic anyway.
On a lighter note however Friday sees Mercury move into Leo, a zodiac sign where it can thrive, and help us to be more creative, and fun loving, but with these more serious influences are very much at the root of this week, and probably we do need to deal with the brass tacks in our situations first and foremost.
