Astrology Overview for WC 29th January 2018

Mercury starts the week where it finished last week, in a tense right angle with Uranus. A battle between the orthodox and the novel is possible, be it inside ourselves or with someone we encounter. However by Thursday, Mercury moves into the sign of Aquarius , where it joins with both the Sun and Venus. This gives us all an opportunity to think about more interactive, social, group-based plans and activities, and also to grapple with any future strands in our situations.

Thursday also sees the Total Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Leo . Aquarius energies are about the collective, and about individuality, as well as higher ideals, whilst in contrast Leo energy is more to do with self-expression, romantic hopes, warmth, and playfulness. Yet Leo can also be about the ego, and be more self-centred, so a balance between the two signs is going to be required. With Neptune also in Quincunx with the Moon, and located in the beguiling Pisces, more ethereal energies are threaded through this particular Eclipse. Neptune can be distorting, so the balance that we need to find between the self and how we interact with others, needs to take into account our reality which can be shifting and moving around in the months ahead.

In the second half of this week Venus also squares to Jupiter. Now this is one of those right angles that can have an upside, and can see us wanting to embrace lighter, frothier and more indulgent pursuits. But there is also the potential to overdo the sugar, the calorific goodies, the alcohol, in a way which won’t necessarily be good for us. We may also find ourselves drawn to someone in an intimate way, but not necessarily a person who would be good for us or for us to be good for them. This may be someone in our social circle or an existing friend. For more information or to watch your zodiac sign Weekly Video forecast or join me at Free Daily, Weekly and Monthly Horoscopes
