Mercury and aviation…

As I flagged up yesterday, Mercury will begin a twenty three day retrograde in Aries this week (tomorrow, the 30th of March) and the impact of this is already starting to be felt.

There is almost sure to be plenty of discourse among the NATO members as to the exact terms of reference for enforcing the “no fly zone” in Libra, once it takes over command tomorrow. The way this has been enforced by the French, American’s and British, is unlikely to suit all members, so some scaling back may occur.

Furthermore, around seventy leading members of British business have written an open letter to the Government which is featured in The Times today, urging them to clarify exactly what plans they have for aviation, and more importantly airport hubs.

In addition, the long running dispute between BA the UK airline and some members of its unionised workforce has once more flared up with further industrial action to be announced.

Mercury retrograde is not to be underestimated and more issues will come into the open yet.
