It has been revealed that the Commonwealth leaders who are visiting Sri Lanka are being offered a rather unusual freebie as part of their trip. TB Ekanayake, who is the Culture and Arts minister for Sri Lanka, has told leaders that they can get their personal horoscope cast for free in the Battaramulla district of Colombo, which they will be visiting as part of the trip. To claim the special treat they will need to visit a newly-opened centre in this upmarket area. This may seem an usual perk, but in Sri Lanka many people are avid astrology fans and politicians are particularly eager to make use of their services. Thus, an astrologer can be asked to help their clients ascertain the best day and time for many events including; a marriage ceremony, moving home or starting a political campaign. The Commonwealth leaders will need to be precise about their birthdate, place of birth and time, As, like Western astrologers, Sri Lankan astrologers need to have these details to produce the most accurate chart possible. Unfortunately, only the heads of state will be able to make the most of this opportunity, as other delegates will have to put their hands in their own pockets, and pay for any astrological services they require...
