Scorpios like Willow Smith, Ciara and Emma Stone, probably won’t need reminding that their birthday stone is Topaz. The topaz we see in the shops is usually blue or yellow, but it comes in a variety of colours including; brown, clear, red/pink and green. Obviously, it is claimed to be a fortunate stone for Scorpios, but it’s also said to be able to help us all in various ways. If you have been involved in a disagreement, topaz is said to be superb at helping you ‘forgive and forget’. It also enhances your sense of empathy, so you can appreciate the other person’s point of view. It is great in aiding with affirmations and visualisation, and blue topaz is said to be a useful tool for meditation. Topaz is one of the crystals which is cited as being very effective at clearing the aura, and this makes it ideal for enabling relaxation, whilst clear topaz is believed to remove obstacles. Wearing Topaz is also claimed to aid with problem solving and to assist those who work in the arts. Saint Hildegard of Bingen, claimed an elixir made from this crystal could improve one’s eyesight.
