Dornan is an Northern Irish Actor, Musician and Model. Jamie was born in 1982 in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland, and grew up in the suburbs of Belfast. Jamie has two sisters – Liesa who works for Disney in London, and Jessica who is a Fashion Designer. His Father is an obstetrician and gynecologist who is also said to have once considered becoming an actor. Jamie’s Mother passed away when Dornan was sixteen from Pancreatic Cancer. In 2010, Dornan met English actress and singer-songwriter Amelia Warner and they became engaged in 2012, and married in 2013 and the couple have two daughters.
Jamie’s Musical career consisted of him belonging to the folk band, ‘Sons of Jim’, until the band ended in 2008. However, Dornan can be found singing the song ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’ in the 2018 film Fifty Shades Freed, in which he plays the young billionaire Christian Grey, based on the Fifty shades trilogy written by E.L James.
The Fifty shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed films shot Dornan to global success, playing Mr Grey but Jamie has also starred in the ABC television series, Once Upon A Time playing Sherriff Graham. He also featured in the BBC drama The Fall, in which Dornan plays a twisted serial killer. He said to star alongside Peter Dinklage from the hit movie series Game of Thrones, in a new HBO television film, and is to play the character of Will Scarlett in the new Robin Hood Movie, due to be released by Lionsgate later this year.
Sun in Taurus
Jamie’s Sun is in Taurus, which could give him a patient and calming nature as well as a sense of appreciation for life’s little and potentially more major luxuries. People born under the sign of Taurus can sometimes be quite introverted and they like to keep their distance even from people they are fond of. However, the reason for this is not necessarily based on arrogance, but perhaps difficulty in talking through their problems with others.
Jamie’s Moon is in Leo, which could point towards a need for fun, passion and self-expression. As Leo is a Fixed sign this could signal has a consistency and perseverance in his attitude. With Leo being a dramatic and creative sign, Jamie could crave to seek outlets that allow him to explore his creativity and receive recognition.
Dornan’s Jupiter, the Planet of Fortune is in Scorpio. This can help to make him magnetic, intuitive and self-reliant. The pairing of Jupiter and Scorpio (abundance and fixation) could mean that he throws himself into work, power, sex and love, which could sometime be “overdone”. But by focusing on this intensity, he can gain great results. He may find it easier to discuss the taboo or forbidden more than most people, as well as enjoying the psychology behind these subjects. This runs parallel to some of the roles Jamie has played, particularly in The Fall and The Fifty Shades Trilogy.
Venus in Pisces
Jamie’s Venus in Pisces, and so he could be a dreamy and sensitive partner. There is likely to be a playfulness and charm about him, although he could also potentially be moody at times. People with this placement can sometimes be frustrating partners, as yes they are sensitive, but this sensitivity can be extended to all people, and not just their close intimate relationships. His love may be unconditional and unconcerned about status, but rather what is underneath. Meaning he could be attracted to people who are considered the underdog or perceived as wayward. They tend to love people for exactly who they are, and what’s more except others’ for who they are totally, this could make Jamie a wonderful lover and friend to those close to him.
Jamie’s Chiron, said to be the Wounded Healer, is also in Taurus. This placement can sometimes appear masochistic, (another Fifty Shades Parallel?) this is because they truly own their pain. Those with this placement can get very comfortable with pain, and could even stay in unhealthy relationships longer than they should because of this. When Chiron is in the horoscope of Taurus people work through their pain slowly, as it takes them time to really dive deep as this emotion is very real to them. They may tend to brood in the feeling of the pain, but once they have worked through their hurt, they can turn their suffering into something really beautiful and valuable that can potentially help others.
