Unlock the Neptune Mystery…

On Wednesday 4th December at 6.58am GMT there was the Waxing 1st Quarter Moon in the sign of the Pisces ruled by the mystical Neptune and expansive Jupiter. Visible from Earth we can see about 52% of the surface of the Moon. But what does this precise combination mean from an astrological perspective? PLEASE READ BELOW FOR MORE…

With the Sun in the expansive Sagittarius, this angle can create the potential for over reaction to situations. It is absolutely vital that we do not add the Fire of the Sun in the Archer to the Water of Pisces.

Facts in particular can get distorted by more subconscious vibrations, fears and anxieties. To use a very basic term, we could be tempted to blow something unnecessarily out of proportion. So in the next week, hard facts really need to be central to what we do and think.

Furthermore as this week goes on, and the Sun advances in Sagittarius it too forges a right angle to Neptune and through to next Tuesday by a 3 degree Orb or gap (exact on Saturday 7th) the potential for this swirling mist of misinformation and confusion is intensified. If we sense someone is being evasive, illusive or darn right dishonest, proceed with caution, for fact really can be stranger than fiction.

The upside of Neptune is when we can use its huge potential to tune into what is less tangible, in a more positive way. So for example, if we sense someone is going through a tough time, a few kind words could make a huge difference to their welfare. We could also embrace the more spiritual, less materialistic and traditional side of Christmastime and make a donation to a good cause or someone less well off.

Neptune Factoids…

Neptune has 14 Moons, the largest of which is names Triton.

Neptune is the most distant planet from the Sun.

Neptune was not known to the ancients as it is not visible to the naked eye and was first observed in 1846.

A year on Neptune lasts 165 Earth years.

This planet is named after the Roman God of the Sea.

The God of the Sea Neptune, has a trident with three prongs symbolising;

  • Birth, Life, Death
  • Mind, Body, Spirit
  • Past, Present, Future

These aspects of the Neptune symbol give us a glimpse at how diverse and expansive this energy is.
