Here we can grapple with the true depth of any problem-solving but also apply solutions in a lasting and tangible way. What’s really required is determination and commitment.

However this is a week when Venus does continue to oppose the restless energies of Uranus, despite the fact that she will invert back into the sign of Libra on Thursday. All this feeds into the Grand Fixed Cross with the nodal axis in Leo and Aquarius. Relationships which have become stale, and rather repetitive and unenriching, may need to be broken to make way for something that is fresher and more relevant. Of course the best of ties are not perfect, and what this aspect can encourage us to do is to avoid taking stubborn, inflexible positions, and instead embrace the potential for change, variety and spontaneity.

Monday Tuesday also sees a fine link between the two co-rulers of Scorpio in the guise of Mars and Pluto. A preparedness to be open to collaboration and cooperation, especially if it benefits everybody rather than us the individual, can also see progress be achieved.

Wednesday sees a Quarter Moon in Leo, and if there is any jealousy or possessiveness around a relationship, this too can be a factor. Then again if you are investigating any financial or business opportunities, this aspect encourages taking a safety first approach.

Wednesday also sees Mercury move into Sagittarius. He is actually in detriment in this location, being in opposition as it is to Gemini , and squaring to Virgo , the two zodiac signs this planet governs. Essentially our thinking and our mode of communication needs to remain realistic. Sagittarius is by nature a very optimistic zodiac sign, so being measured what we think and say is key.

With Venus arriving back home in Libra, the retrograde does continue until the middle of November. In fact, it will not be until 17th December, that this planet returns to the point where the retrograde began and comes out of shadow. So some relationship issues may have some time to run, especially if they’re quite complex. Also Venus governs finances, and especially more discretionary spending, so we may still wish to be cautious about what we splash out on and also about the amount of sugar, alcohol and calorific goodies that we in-take.
