Today I am sharing a guest blog by A&J Morgan, focusing on the fascinating subject of the Tarot. So, without further ado, here goes…Most people have heard the term tarot card, or tarot reading, yet for many this occult and esoteric practice remains a mystery.
Tarot Cards have been around for centuries and originally they were used as playing cards. During the 18th and 19th century however, the cards began to be associated with mysticism and magic. Mystics and occultists utilized the symbolism and meanings behind the tarot cards, to help those who consulted toward understanding their past, present and future.
Most Tarot Card Decks have 78 Cards. The deck consists of the Major and Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana has 22 cards and the Minor Arcana 56 cards. The Major Arcana is believed to consist of the greater secrets in life and the Minor Arcana including the Pentacles, Wands, Coins and Cups, includes the general activities of our lives. Each card is symbolic and can interpret much about one’s life, however many believe that:the following 5 cards are the luckiest cards to draw in the deck.
The Lovers: The lovers are a wonderful card to draw from the tarot deck as it suggests that love is in the air. This could mean that you are about to enter a deep and romantic relationship, or it could represent the strengthening of an existing one. This card also typifies the love and connection between you and others at the most desired human level.
The World:This card is a wonderful card to pull from the deck, for as it suggests the world could indeed be your oyster. Opportunities will present themselves to you and during this time anything is possible. You could be going on a journey or completing one, however this card always suggests success.
The Sun:The sun is a wonderful and warm card to draw. This card suggests happiness, new beginnings and lots of positivity. Anything that you have directed your energy will be a success and there you will be buzzing with renewed energy as your faith has been restored in life.
Wheel of Fortune:As the Wheel of Fortune spins, this card suggests that things will work out in your favor. Luck is on your side and any projects, ventures or agreements you enter into will have a good outcome. When you draw this card, it definitely represents a lucky time in your life.
Nine of Pentacles:The Nine of Pentacles is a great card to draw as it indicates prosperity and even wealth. Any business deals, transactions and anything related to your career will be a success. This is a great time to seize opportunities and to enjoy your newfound status.
There are many other cards from the 78 card deck, that you also may consider to be lucky or success cards and each card will offer you an in-depth outlook into the different areas of your life.
