Shania Twain sang, ‘So you’re Brad Pitt, that don’t impress me much!’ Well, Angelina Jolie seems to be singing along, after filing for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and bringing closure to the 12 year relationship, affectionately referred to as ‘Brangelina’!
However, cynics might say it was never a ‘True romance’ set to go the distance and more a ‘Pitt’-stop, as both have a back-catalogue of high profile liaisons. Whilst, others claim changes occurred in the ‘Changeling’ Star’s relationship after Jolie’s life-altering surgeries and Pitt’s less enthusiastic stance towards adopting.
Star-crossed lovers or cross star lovers
Although, whatever the reasons, the Planets above have played their part in turning these star-crossed lovers into cross star lovers instead. I say ‘star-crossed’, as it is definitely opposites attract with this pair, as Jolie, Sun Sign Gemini has communicative Mercury at home in this dexterous Air Sign too, with Venus, Saturn and her Ascendant just within watery Cancer’s domain. Whereas, Pitt has his Sun opposing Jolie’s in adventurous Sagittarius near his Ascendant, with his Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars all falling in practical Capricorn. Positively, this configuration means each have Planets in the other’s 7th house of Partners, but not enough to spell 7th heaven forever, especially with challenging more malefic than ‘maleficent’ Mutable Planets of late and powerful Eclipses, particularly this month’s to Brad’s Natal Planets.
Then, add transits from transformative Pluto in Capricorn, conjunct Brad’s Moon and other Personal Planets, combined with shocking Arian Uranus igniting Angelina’s Moon, Mars and the couple’s Jupiter, without the effects these Planet’s testing Cardinal angles make! In short, changes are afoot.
Foundations in crisis
So, ironically the couple became involved on the ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ film-set; a tale of a couple pretending to each be somebody else; are re-enacting it. For Pitt with multiple Planets in his persona and First House, he is generally complex, requiring a balance of freedom and stability at home. Whereas, Jolie’s Gemini and Arian Planets means she needs a talkative, spontaneous partner to keep alert. Now, heavy Planets have accentuated these differences causing difficulties. However, with conflicting Moons and communicative Mercury, this relationship would not remain permanently ‘unbroken’, only until they underwent karmic North node ties, perhaps through creating their foundation aiding humanitarian crisis. However, now their marriage foundations are in crisis, as allegedly Pitt is finding his ‘jollies’ elsewhere, neglecting home parenting.
In sum, a case of ‘Pitt and pendulum’ calling time on this marriage or ‘Auf-wiedersehen Pitt!
