We all like to think we have a special bond with our pets, but Judy Owen believes her relationship with her cockerpoo Daisy, is extra special. Judy thinks Daisy is psychic and she claims the cute cocker spaniel/poodle cross has saved her from injury - twice. Earlier this year, Daisy began howling while Judy was driving, Judy slowed down to find out what was worrying her pooch. Minutes later, a car ploughed into the back of her car as it pulled out of a junction and sent Judy’s car smashing into a wall. Judy only escaped being badly hurt because she had reduced her speed due to Daisy's insistent barking. On a different occasion, Daisy started to charge around Judy's Worcester home at 4am, a couple of hours before a glass shower screen shattered in the bathroom. Judy told the Daily Mail;
‘Just before it happened, Daisy wouldn't leave my side, she wouldn't let me go, she just wanted me to stay there…Maybe she heard the glass cracking first, I didn't know what was going to happen, but she seemed to sense something and wanted to protect me.’
Judy claims Daisy shows her psychic abilities in other less dramatic ways too, such as barking seconds before the phone rings.
