Christian Bale was just 13 when first appeared Empire of the Sun. Since then, Christian, who celebrates his 40th birthday this year, has appeared in The Machinist and American Psycho. He plays Moses in Ridley Scott's Biblical epic, Exodus, which will be released later this year.
