John Hurt came to prominence in the 1966 film, A Man for All Seasons. Since then, the 74 year old star has appeared in many diverse and successful films including, Alien, The Elephant Man and The Naked Civil Servant. He also played Doctor Who in the series’ 50th Anniversary Special - The Day of the Doctor.
