Cosmologist, theoretical physicist and author, Stephen Hawking, is 72 today. He was the first to suggest a cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He is also a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds’ interpretation of quantum mechanics.
