Readers of a certain vintage may recall the fuss that occurred when former American president Jimmy Carter, claimed he saw a UFO. This may prove to be minor compared to the confession by Canada’s former defence minister, Paul Hellyer, that aliens walk amongst us. Hellyer, announced this startling information on a Russian TV programme on Tuesday - making him the first top official from a G8 nation to claim alien life has been confirmed. Hellyer asserts that there are a number of alien races visiting earth, and that they have been doing so for millennia. Regular visitors include; ‘short grays’, ‘Nordic blondes’ and ‘tall whites’ - who could almost pass as humans. He also claimed that some aliens work for the U.S. Air Force in Nevada. According to Hellyer, the out-of-this-world visitors come from all over the galaxy, including from Venus, Mars and Saturn's moon, and other star systems. The aliens are far in advance of us technologically, and they don’t interfere with our affairs. Although they have given us the means to develop LED lights, microchips and Kevlar vests. Hellyer also suggested that our belligerent attitude and disregard for nature has stopped the aliens from sharing their more advanced technology with us. He commented;
‘We spend too much time fighting each other, we spend too much money on military expenditures and not enough money on feeding the poor and looking after the homeless and sick. And that we're polluting our waters and air, and that we're playing around with these exotic weapons, thermonuclear weapons and atomic weapons, which have such a devastating effect on our earth and our cosmos, and they don't like that’.
