Tarot 3rd May. Today I have chosen the Seven of Wands. The Wands are in the Minor Arcana and relate to the Element of Fire. Anything to do with being bold, listening to our hunches, and having the spark to make new beginnings, or reinvigorate existing situations, comes to the fore.
Seven of Wands
The Tarot Card I have chosen is the Seven of Wands, and this is its meaning across the three Tenses of Past, Present and Future, in a Three Card Spread.
The Past
You have been unsure of your moral ground, others have tried to push their values and beliefs on you, and you have taken the path of least resistance. Or was your conscience a little queasy? Try to put things right.
The Present
Sometimes you have to stand up and be counted, and this is one of them. Don’t let yourself be bamboozled. The time has come to follow your beliefs and convictions, and be ready to face any opposition.
The Future
You will have to confront and contain any opposition to your plans. But is it worth the effort, are you serving your values or someone else’s? The courage of your convictions is laudable, but only if they truly are your convictions.
